Background
Represented alliance of hunters, anglers and birders to retain public access to well-used, well-loved Flathead River site when county abandoned the public roadway at a developer's request.
Developed public private partnership with city, state, non-profits and private landowners to craft a recreation-based conservation plan, which includes a regional trail system, for 13,000+ acres of trust land around the community of Whitefish.
Representing developer in negotiations with state and city to leverage commercial development of state trust lands for the permanent protection of non-profit community baseball and soccer fields.
Worked with local family to craft estate and conservation plan that would protect grizzly bear habitat and reduce the value of the estate so the children afford to continue to care for and live on the land.
